I'm getting nothing but a blank Gamespot page from the link.
Of course those two aren't helping PC gaming, they have no stake in it. It is more of a tacit competition.
MS as a software developer does and is in a better position to help or hurt PC gamers. They've arguably been doing a bit of both bringing multiplats and GFWL to PC, but on the other hand shutting down what were mainly PC devs and promoting 360 timed-exclusives over dual PC/360 releases.
You don't eat MEALS while gaming, you eat SNACKS or appetizers.
Taquitos, chips, crisps, hors d'œuvre, maybe even shrimp. Party foods. Anything with 'mini' attached to it.
If you don't want to balloon though, I'd go for grapes and berries.
I don't have too many issues with the choices. Rad Racer and TLR I think are items that don't need to be there at all.
Super Mario RPG might have deserved an honourable mention.
Edit: And I believe Enix proper deserves a list of its own. This is much more a Square-only list.
Contrary to popular opinion, SE did not start making good games with PSX and FFVII. There were plenty of greats before that.
The only game I consider a must buy right now is Dragon Age: Origins. The rest are also good games for sure, but I personally have very fickle interest in them.
Ma~ybe Borderlands. I want to play Uncharted 2 as well, but I don't see myself picking it up until well after its release.
Edit: Maybe that Shadow Complex too. Looks a lot better than I thought.
Err, I think he was referring to Reach. There's pretty much nothing known about that besides that one picture.
Argh, this is surely something I HATE about these articles.
You write a title out like it's a proven FACT with no PROOF. Capitalized for your edification, future writers. This is misleading and plain unprofessional. I expected to see some numbers or research or at least a quote from Sony. No wonder people dislike this site (HHGS).
You're supposed to tell people it's just an opinion BEFORE they click the link. I've wasted my time here.
This is a pretty low accusation on the article's part.
I'm sorry to be blunt with people who feel 9/11 should be a hallowed world holiday, but to other countries, it's just a Friday and this is just another game.
"PSN game sharing is also labeled as violating the ToS later in the PS Forum thread (linked above)"
Absolutely false if you keep reading the thread.
"[...]This is a consistent reminder about best practices for protecting the security of your PSN account.
I am referring to specific actions taken by specific individuals recently that involve granting items to people by using their account info. I am not talking about gamesharing.
As an American, I don't see the problem with world gaming news at all. It's a wide world of gaming and we aren't the only country out there.
But I don't see much wrong with the option if you want to sequester yourself.
I'm glad the 360 has another potential exclusive, but not to the detriment of the PC crowd. Largely because I am part of that crowd.
@Insomnia: You might as well throw Nintendo and Sony in there too. MS's 360 is in fact the console that shares the most of its games with PC. In that way, they are exception to the rule in console gaming. How many PS3/PC or Wii/PC titles are there? Very few if any.
In no specific ranking:
RAGE (GTAIV, Red Dead Redepmtion, Midnight Club)
CryEngine (Crysis, Aion: Tower of Eternity)
Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2 Engine
Dead Engine (Deadspace, Dante's Inferno)
Unreal Engine (lotsa games)
Avalanche (Just Cause 2, The Hunter)
IW Engine (CoD2, MW2)
Anvil Engine (Assassin's Creed, Prince of Persia)
EGO Engine (Colin McRae: DiRT, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising)
Geo-Mod Engine (Red Faction: Gueri...
I like how one of the authors is an MS guy. Put aside your comapny's competition for a bit and just focus on the tech. On another note, this article should come with crib notes.
Lastly, Cyberdyne is already a well-known robotics manufacturer in Japan. Be ready for war, gentlemen.
It's odd. I hope it's Rare related, but then again I'm not a big Rare fan. I was just disappointed to hear nothing out of them at E3 concerning those "two NEW Rare IPs" I remember MS mentioning in the spring. Maybe one or both is Natal related and they can't say yet.
I wonder what this new 'project' is. The wording could mean anything, crafty devils. I'm leaning towards DLC or an XBLA game.
Since I don't really play shooters anymore, of course I hope they'll show us what they can do in another genre.
I love RPGs, but I don't think that's likely. Does GG have any RPG experience? If not, I doubt they'd risk a genre they possibly have no clue about. So I expect a KZ3 or a 3PS. It's all good.
It's a response to a negative article about Blu-ray. And, to answer your question, probably.
It's not like HD-DVD would have gotten rid of DD, a concern on which the offending article heavily bases its arguments.
Asian girls next to 360s? Zionists? Okay, you're officially insane.
I don't think anyone will mind if I start the debubbling.
I'm surprised anyone took an article with "STFU" in the title seriously.
"I'm not sure what to make of that."
You can obviously draw a few conclusions from that depending on your console leaning. PS3 has better exclusives or 360 really is better for multiplats than PS3 (at least in NA).
Pick whichever suits your inner bias.
I'd congratulate KZ2, Halo Wars, and definitely UFC Unleashed. I'm surprised HW is even up there being an RTS, but good show.
